Surface Preparation
All parts to be coated must be free of dirt and oils. Parts should be cleaned and degreased prior to delivery. This is a very important step prior to powder coating because the curing temperatures will drive oils and moisture out of the part and cause damage to the coating as it cures. All parts are cleaned prior to powder coating with a phosphate wash and steam rinse.
In-House Media Blasting
All prices include a light abrasive blast. Prices may vary for the removal of paint, powder coat, and other finishes.
Masking
High temperature masking material and silicon plugs are used to protect areas that do not require powder coating.
